Victor Rivera was born on the 30th of August, 1976 in Aibonito, Puerto Rico. His love for volleyball started at
the tender age of 12, as he followed in the footsteps of his mom and dad, who both played in local volleyball
teams growing up. Starting his career in 1993, he joined the Junior National Team of Puerto Rico. In 1994, at
the age of 17, he was Rookie Of The Year for his first year in the Superior League in Puerto Rico. Over the next
twelve years, playing for "Los Changos de Naranjito", he won 9 championships and 4 league finals MVP.

From 1995 to 1999 he went to Lewis University where he earned his BA in marketing while playing for the
Lewis Universtiy Flyers.

In 2000 Victor went on to play in Nafels, Switzerland, where over the next three years, he won 2 Swiss Cups, 2
Championships and 2 League MVPs.

Other places Victor has played include Poland (Champions League), Greece and France.

He continues to play for the Natinal Team of Puerto Rico, which won a Gold Metal in the 2006 Centro-
American Games and placed 12th in the World Championship in Tokyo Japan 2006.

As a devoted husband to Michele and loving father to his son Lorenzo, Victor enjoys spending his time
watching movies, playing playstation and walking his dog.
